Movie Review: Hercules

Image
There have been several Hercules movies that have come out in the last year or so but Payden and I knew that we HAD to see the one with "The Rock" in it. I mean, it is "The Rock".  Tuesday night movie date was a complete success. This movie was great and had so many cool fight scenes (kind of reminded me of "300") but my favorite thing about the movie was that they made the characters realistic. Not like Gods but just humans with extra strength. It was such a cool storyline and I loved it. I would give this movie about a 4.5/5 star rating.  Highly recommend it!

Weekend in Photos (July 25th-27th)

My best way to describe my crazy busy life is through photos since I'm always taking pictures.  OKC Thunder tickets came in!   Printed our Cher concert tickets!  Celebrated my friend Shawna's birthday with a session at "Color Me Mine". This is my masterpiece before they baked it.  Slightly went on a shopping spree!  I've been obsessing over this purse since I first saw it. My friend Claire works there and let me know it went on sale. So I finally have it and can't wait to carry it.

Personalization Obsession

If you know me then you know how obsessed I am with personalized items that represent Payden and I, our relationship and our little family.  If you didn't know that already, then you know now.  This week I've gotten quite a few new personalized items that I'm so sxcited to share!  I added a paw print to one of my favorite necklaces. Necklace from http://www.randeavenue.com.  Two state necklaces from http://www.randeavenue.com (I just adore her and her items!) my two home states!!  I've been wanting this Lat&Lo necklace for ages. The coordinates are for Las Vegas!! And I'm already obsessed with it. Next item to purchase from there is a bangle! http://www.latandlo.com And a new throw pillow with the coordinates of Las Vegas! I got this from an Esty shop and I am so in love!!  Here are some of the past items I've gotten too.  Rings with our initials from one of my favorite stores here in Wichita: Alter Ego.  Our date pillow that I ...

MONDAY (JULY 14th): I finally found a "Share a Coke" with my name on it!  TUESDAY (JULY 15th): My friend Tristan relived our love for color by attending Drums Across Kansas. So much fun!  WEDNESDAY (JULY 16th): I'm slowing getting a taste for wine and I am finding ones that I like. So coming home to a glass of wine is slowly becoming an enjoyment to me. And I bought a small wine rack.  THURSDAY (JULY 17th): I came home and must have interrupted Vegas' evening nap.  FRIDAY (JULY 18th): I finally found the cat frame that I've been wanting ever since I saw my friend get one for her dog!  SATURDAY (JULY 18th): I finally ordered tickets for my friends Maggi and Tristan and I to go see OKC Thunder play when they come to Wichita in October!  Switched Coach purses again. I've been waiting for this beautiful purse to go on sale and it is finally mine. OBSESSED!

Life Lately in Random Photos

My aunt sent Payden and I a gift and I love it!! Everyone knows how obsessed I am with dates, initials, or anything that involves memories.  Payden and I went on a movie date (read previous post for review). Movie dates are my favorite!  I've been eyeing these frames for awhile now at Target and I found them on clearance this week! Score!  Another awesome Target find! My favorite author! (And animal).  Early morning breakfast date with the husband at the best donut shop in town!!  Me with my awesome mug the Krnnedys got me on their trip to Dallas! Love it!

Movie Review: Transformers- Age of Extinction

Image
Sunday movie date for the husband and I, which is the best way to spend the day in my opinion.  Today we saw the newest Transformers movie, this series has always been one of my favorites but this one has to be my favorite out of the whole series. The story line was so good and the effects, like always, were amazing. Not to mention Mark Wahlberg was the main actor so that's always amazing in my book.  I would hands down give this movie a five stars rating. Such a good movie and worth seeing in theaters (and owning).  Only downfall from seeing the movie today was that someone decided to bring their crying child into the movie which was super annoying. But oh well.

Fourth of July 2014

First things first, I'd like to share my crazy work schedule for this week:  Thursday-work Friday (today)-off Saturday-work  Sunday-off Monday-work  Tuesday-off Wednesday-off  Crazy right?  Secondaly, and most importantly, I would like to thank all of those who fight for our country and our freedom. Today is really for you but I am constantly thankful for a that you do for all of us.  Payden works tonight so we didn't do much but we did spend the day with the Hamiltons and had a small grill out and just hung out. Payden did get to blow some things up, maybe illegal maybe not, so he was happy.  Overall it was a good and fun day.  Back to work tomorrow for an early day!  Here are pictures from today:

Tuesday's Tales

First things first my friend Kayla is the sweetest and supports my cat obsession! She got me this adorable cat pen!  Secondly, my cat is seriously the cutest. Cat sleepy faces are the best! Look at hers.  Thirdly, the Hamilton's neighbors got a new puppy it has to be hands down the cutest! So fluffy!  And lastly, my younger cousin Camryn came into town to visit and Payden and I finally had time to go over to my parent's house to go are her. Crazy that I use to babysit her and now she is 12 and grown!  All of us at my parent's house (all the cousins besides Tiffani) decided that we wanted to duct tape someone to a wall and Camryn volunteer. We called her mom and got permission! But it was so funny. And a good little bonding moment. Lol
