Movie Review: Star Wars The Force Awakens

Image
I've been meaning to write this post for awhile but with a newborn at home and trying to figure out our life as a family with three humans takes a lot of effort.  The day before we got to bring Wyatt home from the hospital/NICU Payden and I snuck in a movie date to see the new Star Wars movie.  We are both pretty big fans of the originals so we both were looking forward to seeing it. Overall it was really good and had great effects. The story line was good but hard at first to understand. Id give the movie a four star rating. It wasn't my favorite movie but it wasn't awful and we both liked it overall.

Newborn Pictures

The day we got to take Wyatt home from the hospital/NICU a photography company named Baby Bloom took pictures of him. He was a day under a month old when these were taken.  Although Wyatt isn't quite a newborn since he is five weeks old we finally got his newborn pictures done at our home once we all had some time to adjust. Of course they were done by our photographer/friend Mikayla.

Wyatt is One Month Old

Friday the 8th our little boy turned one month old!  This is what I posted that day: Wyatt is one month old today! And thanks to his stay at the NICU he is already on a pretty good schedule-sleeping between feedings 3-5 hours. He loves being held and finding Dad's fingers (and beard). He now weighs SIX POUNDS and is 19.5 inches long and had his first doctor's appointment today and is within the 55% on the premie charts.

Random Picture Update

Our life has revolved around my recovery at home and around visits to Wyatt at the NICU. But our cat kid has been entertaining us, Christmas has come and gone and we finished Wyatt's nursery.  Payden bought Wyatt a Christmas present, which warned my heart. But the wrapping about drove my OCD through the roof.  I got released from the hospital on Christmas day. I was so happy to be home to cuddle my cat kid, shower in my own shower and to wear my own clothes.  Christmas Day I got to cuddle with the puppy that we will be adding to our little family during the summer. Say hello to Doc.  Vegas cat wanted attention.  Vegas modeling for her dad.  Cat cuddles in the middle of the night while mom sleeps on the couch or is watching tv.
