32 weeks and 3 days (In & Out)

Image
This past Monday marked Wyatt's 32 weeks and three days of being outside of my womb and in our arms.  Here's what I wrote as the caption of the pictures I took to remember the day: He spent 32 weeks and 3 days in my womb before being born early and now our preemie little guy has spent 32 weeks and 3 days in our arms. Crazy how the small little baby that we once had has grown into this growing boy with the sweetest, yet most ornery personality. We are so in love and happy to be his parents.

Wyatt's 1st Fourth of July

Image
So this is a late post but Wyatt got to celebrate his first Fourth of July and was the cutest! We had a bbq at the Hamiltons and Wyatt loved being outside. We didn't do anything with fireworks because he is still so small and had been fighting a head cold that weekend. So he has his first head cold and hks first fourth in the same weekend. Maybe next summer. Here are some pictures for his first fourth.

What I'm Reading

As an obsessed Harry Potter fan and a proud member of the generation who grew up with these stories and movies and who dreamed to be able to attend Hogwarts when I found out about this book coming out I knew it needed to be added to our collection. I bought a copy on my nook and a hard copy for Payden/our book collection.  I loved it! It was different than I expected but I should had known that since it was a play but other than that I adored it! I can't wait until Wyatt is old enough to read the books and to join in the love that Payden and I have for the wizard world of Harry Potter.

Wyatt's 1st Pool Experience

So thankful that Wyatt has so many people in his life that love him and spoil him. His aunt Kayla and her parents invited us over to see if Wyatt liked being in the pool. Wyatt loves bath time so Payden and I thought he'd love the pool. And HE DID! We might have a little fish on our hands! He loved splashing around and being in the water. Cannot wait until next summer when we can put him in swim lessons.

Movie Review: Finding Dory

Image
Kayla, her mom Dala and I went on a movie date while I had the day off for July 4th to see a kid movie in the big kid theater. Seeing "Finding Dory" in Warren 21 was the best idea ever. The movie was awesome and there were no dying kids in the theater.  We all loved the movie. It was even kinda sad at times and I reared up a few times but it was wonderful and totally worth the long wait for t to come out after"Finding Nemo". Five star rating for sure!!

Movie Review: Central Intelligence

Payden and I have been wanting to see this movie for awhile. We love Kevin Hart and The Rock. We finally were able to sneak in a mommy/daddy day date when I finally got a week day off. And to make it better we got a $5 movie date as well! Talk about awesome.  The movie was great. Super funny and a good storyline. It was just what we needed to relax with the stresses as parents piling up. A four or so star rating but totally worth the $10 day date.

Wyatt is SEVEN months old!!

Image
Again I'm a few days behind writing this post but hey! Wyatt turned 7 months on July 11th. It's crazy how fast time has gone already.  Wyatt is SEVEN months old! He smiles all the time and understands when someone is taking his picture. He always looks for Vegas cat in the room and laughs so hard when he finds her. He is learning to stand with the help of his jumper/walker/saucer toys. He is sitting up with assistance. He is dealing with some eczema on his face and neck and is quite the drooling machine. Major teething going on but no teeth yet. He has started making faces and tries to copy what we do. He loves trying new food and eating in general.
