The Waiting Game

We have spoken to a family friend who works for the United States Air Force in a field that Payden is highly interested in. This family friend answered a lot of Payden’s question and is a constant support system for him and we are excited to have him at our side through this whole process.

Payden spoke to an officer recruiter yesterday and he has to start the application this weekend, take the officer acceptance test next month. After the test and application have been submitted we start the waiting game. There will be a review board in September/October and the results of who can enter into the program will be posted in December.

Although I am scared of this long process my husband is still feeling confident that he can do it and I am so proud to see him. He is working so hard to prepare himself and to get his body into shape so that after he is accepted (that’s how we are thinking, this is going to happen) he is ready to go and to work hard to start this new journey for our family.

Watching him go through this with the determination he has and all of his hard work is truly inspiring for me as his wife. I can’t wait to see what comes next.

With that being said, everyone please keep us in your thoughts and constantly try to send positive vibes our way while we wait though this process. The love and support is very much appreciated.
