Movie Review: Captain America Civil War

Image
Payden and I got to have an adult date to see the newest Captain America movie at the adult only theater. We love that new theater. So nice to be able to have more room and the reclining chairs and no kids!  The movie was awesome. We love the Captain America story lines and this one did not disappoint. Easily a five stars but then again Marvel movies are our favorite. And we loved being able to go out just the two of us.

Wyatt is FIVE months old!

Image
I am posting this late (but it's better than now than never). Here's what I wrote on the 11th when we turned 5 months old.  Wyatt is FIVE months old! He is a talkative little man and loves when we laugh. He is the king of cat naps during the day and sleeping though the night (in his crib!) He loves bath time, kisses from mom and dad, and outfit changes (although he'd be happy in just a diaper if mom let him). He is wearing three month outfits still. He is kinda obsessed with eating (wonder where he gets that from) and we are waiting for the okay from the doctor to move him to baby food. We are working on perfecting his rolling skills. He loves his blankets (and loves putting them on his face). He was extra loves on mom's first Mother's Day. We are so thankful for him.

Cook Wedding!

Image
May 17th my little sister Tiffani got married in a small ceremony. I love her husband Josh. They are perfect for each other.  Wyatt was the ring bearer in the wedding so I got to walk him down the isle.  The wedding was small and very much the couple. The reception was outside with yard games. Too cute!  Here's a picture from the rehearsal. Josh holding Wyatt for the first time (and maybe his first time holding a baby lol)  Tiffani was such a beautiful bride!

Nick's Graduation!

My little brother is a high school graduate! So proud of him! Wyatt did pretty well during the long graduation and loved that I was "wearing" him the whole time.

My First Mother's Day!

Image
My first Mother's Day was pretty relaxed. We spent the day as a family and ended it with dinner at this amazing family own Italian restaurant. Wyatt was super cuddly too so that made it even better.  This is what I wrote on Mother's Day. "Today is my first Mother's Day and I can't fit any more love in my heart. The last few years Mother's Day has been a struggle for me while I struggled with becoming a mom. I've known that I've always wanted to be a mom and although the struggle was hard it brought me to this day. It is all worth it because it means I get to be this kid's mom and I was made to be his mom.  So happy Mother's Day to all the moms, new moms and moms-to-be out there!!" "My first Mother's Day. This kid has taught me so much about myself in lease last five months. Love being his mom"

Wyatt's First Zoo Trip

Image
On May 7th (the day before Mother's Day) Payden's work hosted family day at the zoo which made it Wyatt's first time at the zoo. We had so much fun and Wyatt loved being outside and loved the stuffed parrot that the company gave him. I am excited for many more family zoo trips!

3/4 Month photos.

Image
Due to how crazy busy life has been we technically didn't take Wyatt's 3 month photos until he was four months old but still. Mikayla, like always did an amazing job! I just love the pictures!!

Dannielle's Baby Shower

Image
On May 1st I helped host Dannielle's baby shower for her and baby Russell! The shower was perfect and we all had so much fun. I can't wait for little Russell to get here.

Frazier Fest: Kayla's Wedding

Image
Kayla's wedding was so much fun and it went so perfectly! Kayla is married and I was beyond happy and proud to stand on her side.  The wedding was on April 23rd and we all had so much fun. It's just taken me forever to write this post because...well infant. Lol  Here's a picture from the rehearsal dinner.  Here are some pictures from the wedding.

Kayla's Bachelorette Party

Image
Kayla's bachelorette party was the Saturday before the wedding and we had a lot of fun. We rented out a hotel suite and played some games and a few rounds of cards against humanity. We then went to dinner at a brewery in downtown Wichita and it was a lot of fun. We ended the night some dancing at some clubs downtown.
