My First Mother's Day!

My first Mother's Day was pretty relaxed. We spent the day as a family and ended it with dinner at this amazing family own Italian restaurant. Wyatt was super cuddly too so that made it even better. 

This is what I wrote on Mother's Day. "Today is my first Mother's Day and I can't fit any more love in my heart. The last few years Mother's Day has been a struggle for me while I struggled with becoming a mom. I've known that I've always wanted to be a mom and although the struggle was hard it brought me to this day. It is all worth it because it means I get to be this kid's mom and I was made to be his mom.  So happy Mother's Day to all the moms, new moms and moms-to-be out there!!"

Growing up in Wichita, Kansas my husband has always known about the 'crumply burgers' at NuWay. I on the other hand had never heard of such a thing and never had the nerve to try the restaurant chain that I had never heard of. Yet since we have been dating since high school he eventually got me to try it and I have loved them ever since. When we moved out on our own I wanted to try and save money and figured I could make the 'crumply burgers' myself. After some trial and error I have come up with a recipe that works perfectly for us. A friend asked me to share the recipe, remember that I am not a chef though so there are no real measurements for the recipe but more of a "do what you feel is right". Wyatt’s 2nd Birthday!

I guess I forgot to write about Wyatt’s 2nd birthday, and that makes me said because that was such a fun party to plan since he actually has things he shows interest in now! Wyatt's 2nd birthday party was Elmo themed and it turned out so good! I am Kinda over board on planning and have “Pinterest perfect” parties by I love every bit of the crazy my planning makes me.
