Movie Review: The Conjuring 2

Image
My friend Terrance from work and I snuck in a $5 movie date to see a scary movie. Scary movies have always been my favorite and Payden hates watching them so it's nice to have someone who will. I have loved the first conjuring movie and knew the second one would be awesome and it was!! I couldn't sleep that night after watching it! I love ghost stories that are "based on a true story" so this was great! Five stars if you like scary movies.

These have to be some of my favorite pictures so far! We went to the nature center by our house. Mikayla did a great job working with my boys!

Payden's 27th birthday!

On June 6th Payden turned 27 and his sister Paige turned 22. On the 5th we had a family BBQ at the Hamiltons and we all had so much fun. Wyatt loved being outside with everyone. And Payden loved having his whole family together to celebrate. Plus he got a pecan pie made by his mom as his birthday cake. And grandpa Phil was able to come so that made the party even better.  Happy 27th  birthday to this handsome man I'm lucky to have as my husband and my baby daddy. Seriously he's the best dad, the best husband and the best friend I could ever imagine. Love you Payden Phillip!

Wyatt is SIX Months Old!

Happy half birthday Wyatt Phillip! Little man is SIX months old, a half a year has gone by in a blink of an eye! He's always happy when he wakes up. He is teething but hasn't had a tooth pop through just yet. He is in size 2 diapers. He has been in 6 month sleepers for a month or so because of how long he is and still wearing some 3 month outfits but is transitioning to 6 month clothes. He fights going to sleep but sleeps through the night in his crib once he is asleep. He loves being carried around and being able to see everything around him. He loves being outside, talking to daddy and cuddling with mommy. We are still working on his rolling over skills and his sitting up skills. He hates getting his nails trimmed and teething but other than that he's a very happy baby.  And a year ago today we found out I was pregnant. Now we have a six month old a year later!

Movie Review: You Before Me

Kayla, Tristan and I snuck out for a girls night to see a chick flick downtown for $5 movie night. All of us had read the book and so it was a perfect girls date. The movie and book were so good and so emotional. The story line is heartbreaking and sweet all at the same time and a totally tear jerker. I cried probably three times!  We all loved the movie and give it five stars. A great chick flick and a great girls night.
