Cake Smash Session!!

Image
Our photography and friend took the most perfect cake smash session and Kayla helped me set up and let me use her family's land. My vision came to life and it was better than I could imagine! Except Wyatt was not about getting messy.

Meeting Santa

Image
Wyatt was a week old when he first meet Santa. It's a picture I will forever cherish because it's so sweet and you can see how far he has come. My little preemie baby. L When we took Wyatt to meet Santa next he was almost one years old and I will still cherish the pictures for a completely different reason. It was funny to watch him slowly break down once he wasn't him my arms. Separation anxiety at its finest.

Wyatt is A YEAR old!!

Wyatt turned one on a Sunday and we had his first birthday that day. So I posted his 12 month photos the night before. It's crazy to look back and make this blog and think that my kid is over a year old. Time goes by so fast. This is what I wrote when I posted his photos the day before his birthday.  Wyatt Phillip is ONE YEAR OLD (tomorrow)! I can't believe how fast this year has gone by and how far he has come. From premie birth and a NICU stay to this wild little boy. He still has no teeth, weighs 21 pounds and is 30 inches tall. Tall and skinny dude! He loves making as much noise as possible. Loves giving kisses and "pat pats". He talks all the time, crawls around like a mad man, climbs the stairs when we aren't looking and keeps us on our toes. We are obsessed with our little man and can't believe we (almost) have a toddler!

Wyatt's first Thanksgiving.

Wyatt's first Thanksgiving or Gamesgiving as I like to call it if Wichita State is playing was so much fun! He loved being around all the people and trying new foods. Thanksgiving was his last "first" holiday so it was the last set of props for pictures.

Wyatt is ELEVEN months old!!

Clearly I am behind on blogging again. With Wyatt turning one and the holidays everything else slipped my mind. So I'm playing catch up (again) on the blog. This is what I wrote that day when I posted his picture.  This dude is ELEVEN months old. I can't even wrap my head around that! Like let me take a minute and hold back tears that he will be one next month.  Crazy Wyatt is his nickname because he has crazy hair and is crazy silly, crazy loud and crazy cuddly. He shakes his head no when we try to feed him or give him something that he isn't interested in. He loves being able to pull himself up to stand (in the crib, in the playpen, by the couches, at his toys, at the dog gate or crate). He loves hearing his own voice and laughs when we laugh. He has the best facial expressions ever and can't hide what he is thinking or his emotions because his face gives him away (gets that from his momma FOR SURE). He's getting use to his big boy car seat and
