Mandy's Baby Shower

This past Sunday I was able to throw my best friend Mandy her first baby shower. Jenny (Mandy's Alpha Phi Big Sister) and I worked hard the whole month texting each other and gathering ideas and activities for the shower. We decided to have a book theme for the baby, so we had everyone bring books for a raffle so that Mandy and Tannen can have a Mommy and Me Library started before he arrives. The overall theme of the shower was "Goodnight Moon" and it turned out so cute! I worked really hard on her diaper cake and we picked out some fun games for the girls to play. The cake that we ordered matched the theme perfectly and it was adorable. Mandy really enjoyed herself and got alot of really good gifts for her and the baby. I was really proud of how it all turne dout and I am so happy for her.

Growing up in Wichita, Kansas my husband has always known about the 'crumply burgers' at NuWay. I on the other hand had never heard of such a thing and never had the nerve to try the restaurant chain that I had never heard of. Yet since we have been dating since high school he eventually got me to try it and I have loved them ever since. When we moved out on our own I wanted to try and save money and figured I could make the 'crumply burgers' myself. After some trial and error I have come up with a recipe that works perfectly for us. Wyatt’s 2nd Birthday!

I guess I forgot to write about Wyatt’s 2nd birthday, and that makes me said because that was such a fun party to plan since he actually has things he shows interest in now! Wyatt's 2nd birthday party was Elmo themed and it turned out so good! I am Kinda over board on planning and have “Pinterest perfect” parties by I love every bit of the crazy my planning makes me.
