Country Stampede 2012

I was lucky enough to get a free ticket to go to the Saturday night concerts of Country Stampede this year. So I left Friday afternoon with Payden's aunt and a few of her family members from her side of the family for a girl's weekend. While they were all out at the concerts on Friday night I stayed in our hotel room and read the 50 Shades of Grey book on Aunt Brenda's nook and hung out. It was an relaxing night and I am now addicted to that book series.

Saturday was a fun day. We woke up early, went to breakfast at IHOP, went to the mall where I bought two new sun dresses and then headed to Stampede for the afternoon and night concerts. This was seriously so much fun! We got to have girl talk and gossip and enjoyed each other's company. The concerts were amazing and the ladies I went with were the best company I could have had around me.

Just what I needed, a fun relaxing weekend with people that care about me. I am officially going next year again with the ladies and I can not wait.

Growing up in Wichita, Kansas my husband has always known about the 'crumply burgers' at NuWay. I on the other hand had never heard of such a thing and never had the nerve to try the restaurant chain that I had never heard of. Yet since we have been dating since high school he eventually got me to try it and I have loved them ever since. When we moved out on our own I wanted to try and save money and figured I could make the 'crumply burgers' myself. After some trial and error I have come up with a recipe that works perfectly for us. Wyatt’s 2nd Birthday!

I guess I forgot to write about Wyatt’s 2nd birthday, and that makes me said because that was such a fun party to plan since he actually has things he shows interest in now! Wyatt's 2nd birthday party was Elmo themed and it turned out so good! I am Kinda over board on planning and have “Pinterest perfect” parties by I love every bit of the crazy my planning makes me.

Family Hand-Me-Downs

This jacket was Brent's when he was a toddler and Payden wore it when he was a toddler and now Wyatt is wearing it. It's so cool to see him in these hand me downs. And I even found pictures of Payden wearing the jacket to compare.
