Vegas does nothing but entertain Payden and I. I am obsessed with her as if she is our first child and in our eyes that is exactly what she is. Some people have their dogs or their own children that they tell stories about or whom they are always excited to come home to. For Payden and I that is Vegas.
Vegas is obsessed with playing fetch. Typically it is with a hair tie (her favorite toy) or her rat toy that she has loved since we brought it home (she is so obsessed with this toy it is literally staying together just barely by a string). That is typically how she wake Payden and I up by; bringing one of her favorite fetch toys and dropping it right by our faces and pawing at us until we wake up to throw it. If we do not wake up she jumps off the bed to go and unplug the van by the bed, knowing that we will wake up the moment we get too hot. She is really quite smart.
She loves racing us to whatever room she thinks we are going to go to next. Most of the time she is right and will always get there before we do because she is so fast but those times that she is wrong she runs out of the room and stands in the hallway looking at us all confused like and embarrassed that she got it wrong. It is too funny.
Another one of her favorite games is playing with her toys in our kitchen. She mainly likes it because the toys fly around easier on that floor then on the carpet but she always thinks it is really funny to shove her toys under the fridge to watch Payden (I never do it) have to get the toys out from under the fridge. She thinks she is really cleaver.
Payden has taught her that in order to get a treat she has to sit "pretty". So now anytime he is in the kitchen and grabs her treat bag she sits up right and proud- what we have taught her as "sitting pretty" and gets so excited to get her treat. If he takes too long to give it to her she edges forward towards him and then sits "pretty" again. It is too funny to watch but really cool that she as learn a trick of sorts form Payden. He is so proud of it
