Goodbye 2012
2012 was a crazy year. I can't believe everything that has happened. I never imaged that I would spend my first year of marriage going back and forth between the hospital, doctors appointments and getting monthly blood work done. This experience made me even more grateful for the wonderful man that I married. Payden was so amazing through it all and he was such great help when I needed extra love and support when I was scared and worried about everything that was going my way.
In 2012 we adopted Vegas. That was one of the best decisions we could had made. We are proud cat parents and it is so wonderful to come home and see her so loving and happy to see us.
In 2012 I attended many concerts: Carrie Underwood, Country Stampede, Nickleback, Eric Church
We celebrated our first year of marriage with an amazing weekend in Branson. It was a fun weekend to get away and just spend together. I am hoping we can do something fun around the weekend of our anniversary as the years go just to dedicate some time for us.
We started our tradition of anniversary pictures. A fun thing I want to do, like family photos; we will get pictures done every year to see how we grow in our marriage. I am excited to see this tradition grow as we have a family.
Wichita State won the MVC Championship but not the tournament in the spring. It was a fun season to watch and one of the many reasons I am such a proud shocker. The new season started this winter and it is another amazing season to watch and I am excited to see how the new season goes.
We bought me a new car. Which we both love and was our first big purchase together as husband and wife.
Hamilton cousin Brittney got married and I was asked to be a bridesmaid. It was an honor and a wonderful wedding to be apart of.
Tannen Kennedy was born and I was asked to be "Auntie Ams" to him. Which is such an amazing honor. I'm excited to see him grow up, it will be tough with them living in a different state now but it is exciting to see everyone grow up and move on with their lives/futures.
Paige and Tiffani graduated from high school and then started college. Pretty crazy how grown up our little sisters are getting.
2012 was a very crazy and eventful year and I'm excited to see what the new year brings. Here's to a happy and healthier 2013!
My goals for 2013 are only a few but they are important: get back to a healthier me, graduate college, be the best wife I can and help Payden get his dream career.
