Image
Our wonderful photographer/friend came over yesterday after we closed to take pictures of us in our new house and I am OBSESSED with the photos!

HOMEOWNER Status!

Image
WE ARE HOMEOWNERS!  Today we closed on our first house and we couldn't be more excited or in love with it!  My Facebook status:  Saying goodbye to apartment 616: Our first housewarming gift from Brent and Nancy! I think it was Nancy's way of saying "time to do laundry at your own place". Thank you to our sellers for these random five glasses. The left a few random odds and ends in the house.  My first piece of mail has already arrived at the new house and it couldn't be more perfect/beautiful. Thank you to one if my favorite etsy shops!  And the housewarming gifts kept on coming! Thank you to my parents for our washer and dryer!  Thank you to Payden's for a standing deep freeze!  Thank you to my best friend Mandy for my basket of house hold goodies!

National Husband Appreciation Day

Image
Today happens to be #NationalHusbandAppreciationDay and it also happens to be ten days until our closing/moving date! So on this day I want to thank my wonderful husband for all that he does. It amazes me how he has stood by my side through all the events in my life these last 9 years. I can't imagine where'd I'd be if I hadn't given his the chance in high school. There isn't a day that goes by that he doesn't make me laugh or feel loved.  Payden, you still annoy me as much (if not more) as the first day I met you but you also make me laugh harder than anyone I've ever known and you show me what true love is everyday of our lives together. I'm still so excited to be married to you and can't wait to start this homeowner journey with you in TEN DAYS! Love you butthead!

Movie Review: Cinderella

Image
Tristan and I were lucky enough to sneak in two movie dates in one week and we were finally able to see the Cinderella movie and it was worth the wait and every penny!  The movie was wonderful, the acting was incredible and the costumes were beautiful! I can't want until I am able to own this movie. It literally was perfect! Hands down a five star rating hug I'd give it higher than that really. I truly loved the movie!

Movie Review: The Longest Ride

Image
My friend Tristan and I went to see the newest Nicholas Sparks movie. One movie that is based off of a book that we didn't feel the need rush to read before seeing the movie. I mean there isn't much to compare.  Overall the movie was good and really enjoyable. A five star rating especially if you like a good chick flick every now and then.  But my main thought (and Tristan's too) was hello Scott Eastwood. Talk about good genes, I mean those Eastwood genes though. Both are some good looking men!  I do recommend the movie if you like Nicholas Sparks books/movies. It's a good one!

So excited for the first Costco to open here in Wichita in June!  Something (someone) doesn't belong up there. 4-16-15: second movie date with Tristan in one week! Finally got to see Cinderella! Which was wonderful! Movie review to follow.     4-17-15:  #APhiTacoPhist (an event for my sorority. All you can eat tacos!) with some of my favorite people.    And p icture proof of Uncle Payden holding Tannen's hand. No matter how short of a time it lasted it melted my heart! Two of my favorite guys!   4-18-15: Lady Antebellum tickets came in! So excited to have floor tickets with my best friend Kayla!  And my perfect simplified address book came in too!  4-19-15: Bowl For A Kids Sake with some of the alumni members of Alpha Phi. We had costumes and differe...
