#worldprematurityday

Image
Today is #worldprematurityday and I wanted to look back at where our little man started. Born at 32 weeks and 3 days I can't put into words the emotions I felt when I saw him for the first time connected to all the machines. Look at him now almost a year later and he is the funniest dude with a huge personality. Even though it was scary and difficult I wouldn't have changed it, we got to meet him early and he's been such a fighter!

Wyatt's First Halloween!!

Image
This will forever be a memory that I cherish. Wyatt looked adorable and was so happy and having so much fun! We dressed Wyatt up as Max from Where The Wild Things Are. And he was THE CUTEST!  Halloween was on a Monday so I had to work but Payden had the day off to hang out with Wyatt. We started the morning with a photoshoot. Which is getting harder and harder to do with crazy man crawling.  After a crazy day at work I rushed home to get Wyatt ready and out to Andover. We were invited to go trick-or-treating at a coworker's farm neighborhood and it was the best decision. I hope we can keep going because it worked out perfectly.  Wyatt didn't mind being in his costume, loved that we were outside and loved the tractor ride and all the noise. Payden and I had so much fun watching him watch everything.  After trick-or-treating we let Wyatt check out the goodies in his bag and he was so cute checking it all out. He looked very pro

Our (5th and 10th) Anniversary Trip

Image
Our five year wedding anniversary and our ten year anniversary of being together was October 14th. I got a free trip to Oklahoma City through my work so we took a couple of days off to hang out and celebrate.  We left Friday early afternoon and made a stop outside of OKC for lunch at a burger place a coworker told us about. The food was good but it was kinda pricey for burgers.  Once we got into the city and settled into our hotel we explored the brickyard (our hotel was right across the street). And Payden let me try every wine at a little winery.  After spending most of the afternoon walking around the brickyard and hanging out we went back to the hotel to rest and then get ready for our anniversary dinner date.  That night we celebrated our anniversary with a dinner date at this Italian restaurant on the brickyard which was AMAZING!  We sat outside and enjoyed the food and people watched. It was a perfect way to celebrate our anniversary. That next

Wyatt's First Trip to the Pumpkin Patch!

Image
As I previously stated, I am behind in blog post so I'm trying to get caught up! The Thursday before our anniversary and before we went out of town (Thursday October 13th) we both took the day off so we could have a family day and took Wyatt to the pumpkin patch.  He loved it! He loved being outside and seeing the animals and loved being able to touch and hold the pumpkins. It's going to be a fun tradition for our family each year and I can't wait to see how excited he will be next year. It was so much fun!   That following Saturday while Payden and I were out of town Wyatt got to go back to the pumpkin patch and out to lunch with his Nonni, Aunt Brenda and Cousin Barry! The boys had a lot of fun!

Wyatt is TEN months old.

Y'all this working mom life makes time FLY BY! On the 11th of October (hides face because of how long ago that was) Wyatt turned TEN months old!! Here's the caption I posted that day (at least I'm keeping up with the pictures).  Our crazy Wyatt is TEN months old today! He has the silliest personality and loves finding ways to make us laugh. He loves trying new foods especially if he sees it's food coming from our plates. Veggies are his favorite and he HATES peaches. He's in size three diapers and 9 month clothes (some 12 month sleepers and pants though). He hasn't crawled but gets onto all fours and rocks back and forth. He is pulling himself up onto things and loves being able to stand on his own (holding onto something). He's not a fan of nap time but sleeps through the night for the most part. He loves to roll around especially during diaper and outfit changes. Still no teeth but still teething at times. He talks all the time and loves heari
