Bringing in 2012

The year of 2011 brought me a a ton of memories and one of the most amazing changes in my life. Wedding planning took over a large portion of my year and all the things that come with getting married: bridal showers, bachelorette parties and all of that. I can't believe that Payden and I are officially a married couple. Our wedding day and our reception are two days that I will never forget and I am so blessed to be married to my best friend. I was not the only one from my group of friends that got married in 2011 so I was a very busy lady playing the role of bridesmaid and friend and going to a million showers, parties and weddings for all of those around me. I am so happy that so many of us got married in the year of 2011 because it brought us many bonding moments and great memories that we will forever share. The year of 2011 brought me so much, but the whole year wasn't a easy road. The school semesters were rough and I had a very rollercoaster relationship with family duri

Our "First" Christmas

Payden and I celebrated our "first" Christmas this year. We have spent every Christmas together since we have started dating, knowing that this relationship was in for the long hall but this year was our "first" because it was the first one we celebrated as a married couple! I will forever cherish this season and remember how happy we both were. We had such a great time at both sides celebrations and really enjoyed everyone's company. Not to mention we got soem really nice gifts, which is always a plus. I am so excited to see how things change every year at the holidays as both sides of the family grow and as we decide to start growing our little family as well. (No need to panic, these are just thoughts, nothing is set in stone and NO we are not currently expecting...). I am just really excited to see what the future has in store for everyone in our lives. And I am really looking forward to what the year of 2012 brings us all!! Here are a few pictures fro

Growing Up Update

So I have been planning to graduate this upcoming May (2012) but Wichita State has decided to change the graduation requirements for my major, which has added 10 hours needed for me to graduate, which now means I am aiming for graduation in May of 2012 now. It makes me super mad to have to add another two semesters to my schooling, but there is no point of over working myself and trying to take a ton of hours just to fit graduation in this May. So keep you fingers crossed this new plan works out and I can finally become a college graduate. Mandy, my best friend is almost 5 months pregnant and it is so crazy to be apart of this journey with her. I can only image how I am going to be whenever Payden and I do decide to start a family. Mandy is dealing with this whole thing really well considering it wasn't a planned event. I am so excited to see if the baby is a boy or a girl and to finally be able to meet the little one! So much is going on and it is so strange to think that I am a

Christmas Trees of 2011

Image
With this Holiday Season I have alot of Christmas trees in my life. Christmas trees are one of my favorite things about the holidays and they always put a smile on my face. I decided to dedicate a whole post to the Christmas trees in my life. First and most importantly to me, Payden and I's first tree as Mr. and Mrs. It might be small but we are happy with it and it makes me happy to finally have our own tree and to start traditions betweent he two of us. At work there are alot of trees. Rusty Eck Ford is very obsessed with trees, we have four on the show room floor and people have them in their own offices or departments. Here are the trees I see on a daily basis while at work. The main show room floor tree that my friend Larry decorated. It took two days to decorate Then there are the themed trees that we have on the show room floor. The Wichita Thunder Tree The white themed tree   and my favorite themed tree the Willy Wonka tree The tree in my personal office at wo

Manders is expecting!

Image
I have been keeping my mouth shut for what feels like forever but Mandy and her husband have both made the announcement that they are expecting so I am very excited to write this blog now!! Mandy and Sean found out that she was pregnant on the day that I was getting married in Vegas and Mandy was dying to tell me when I got home and it took alot out of her to keep it quite for almost a week before she could tell me. I am so thrilled that I am going to be able to share this little fact with the baby. The way that Mandy told me is something that I will forever cherish! She wrote me an adorable card and gave it to me when she came to visit me at work once I got back into town. Here are the pictures of the card. Once I found out about Mandy expecting her first baby I couldn't help myself get into the excited state of mind and start wanting to plan everything and help her! So I have started a photo book that is going to be a track of her pregnancy journey. I am having a bl

Wedding Reception

Image
I am almost all caught up with my blogging on the big events that have happened in my life. Our wedding reception was two weekends ago on the 22nd. The night before we went with some family and a few friends to set up the place and get that all wrapped up and out to dinner. Trying to do things a little normal (with out a rehearsal but still some family time). The actual day of the reception I was all over the place emotionally. Family situations were driving me up the wall and some people were really bugging me when it came to many aspects of the day. I was excited and wanted the day to get started but I was also stressed and worried it all wouldn't work out the way I had planned. Once we arrived all dressed up, a few hitches had occurred, hair took longer, peoeple didn't show up on time for pictures. After those few things got out of the way and pictures got wrapped up I was ready to get the show on the road and over with so I could just go home and go to bed.. haha. Th
