Our "First" Christmas

Payden and I celebrated our "first" Christmas this year. We have spent every Christmas together since we have started dating, knowing that this relationship was in for the long hall but this year was our "first" because it was the first one we celebrated as a married couple!

I will forever cherish this season and remember how happy we both were. We had such a great time at both sides celebrations and really enjoyed everyone's company. Not to mention we got soem really nice gifts, which is always a plus.

I am so excited to see how things change every year at the holidays as both sides of the family grow and as we decide to start growing our little family as well. (No need to panic, these are just thoughts, nothing is set in stone and NO we are not currently expecting...). I am just really excited to see what the future has in store for everyone in our lives. And I am really looking forward to what the year of 2012 brings us all!!

Growing up in Wichita, Kansas my husband has always known about the 'crumply burgers' at NuWay. I on the other hand had never heard of such a thing and never had the nerve to try the restaurant chain that I had never heard of. Yet since we have been dating since high school he eventually got me to try it and I have loved them ever since. When we moved out on our own I wanted to try and save money and figured I could make the 'crumply burgers' myself. After some trial and error I have come up with a recipe that works perfectly for us. Wyatt’s 2nd Birthday!

I guess I forgot to write about Wyatt’s 2nd birthday, and that makes me said because that was such a fun party to plan since he actually has things he shows interest in now! Wyatt's 2nd birthday party was Elmo themed and it turned out so good! I am Kinda over board on planning and have “Pinterest perfect” parties by I love every bit of the crazy my planning makes me.
