My week in photos: round 4

Sunday: finally found my "H" for my collage in the dining room. Thanks to my girl Dannielle for finding it for me after all this time. 


Monday: I was rear ended on President's Day. 

Wednesday: Wichita State made the cover for Sports Illustrated! 

And I picked up my pretty rental car! 

And I got my own copy of Sports Illustrated! (or two copies...)

Thursday: snuck in a quick dinner with one of my best friends, Mandy and her son (my 'nephew') Tannen and I was given a late Valentine. 

Saturday: went to the home Wichita State basketball game with Maggi and watched the team go 29-0 for the season. 

Saturday the team also won the title for MVC regular season champions ks we got to watch them take down the net. Cool thing to watch.

Growing up in Wichita, Kansas my husband has always known about the 'crumply burgers' at NuWay. I on the other hand had never heard of such a thing and never had the nerve to try the restaurant chain that I had never heard of. Yet since we have been dating since high school he eventually got me to try it and I have loved them ever since. When we moved out on our own I wanted to try and save money and figured I could make the 'crumply burgers' myself. After some trial and error I have come up with a recipe that works perfectly for us. A friend asked me to share the recipe, remember that I am not a chef though so there are no real measurements for the recipe but more of a "do what you feel is right". Wyatt’s 2nd Birthday!

I guess I forgot to write about Wyatt’s 2nd birthday, and that makes me said because that was such a fun party to plan since he actually has things he shows interest in now! Wyatt's 2nd birthday party was Elmo themed and it turned out so good! I am Kinda over board on planning and have “Pinterest perfect” parties by I love every bit of the crazy my planning makes me.

Family Hand-Me-Downs

This jacket was Brent's when he was a toddler and Payden wore it when he was a toddler and now Wyatt is wearing it. It's so cool to see him in these hand me downs. And I even found pictures of Payden wearing the jacket to compare.
