My Week in Photos: Round 17

Sunday- January 18th: Balacony movie date with the husband to see "American Sniper". 

Tuesday- January 20th: my new origami owl charms from my sorority little, Annie. 

Wednesday- January 21st: watching a WSU away game with some of my favorite people including my favorite person ever: my husband! 
I'm slightly obsessed with this photo! 

Thursday- January 22nd: movie date with my friend Tristan. Although we hated the movie it was a fun girl's night. 

Friday- January 23rd: starting the new book in the "Pretty Little Liars" series. 

Sunday- January 25th: off to our first round of house shopping! I can't believe we are going to be homeowners later this year! (If everything goes correctly).

Homemade NuWay Burgers

Growing up in Wichita, Kansas my husband has always known about the 'crumply burgers' at NuWay. I on the other hand had never heard of such a thing and never had the nerve to try the restaurant chain that I had never heard of. Yet since we have been dating since high school he eventually got me to try it and I have loved them ever since. When we moved out on our own I wanted to try and save money and figured I could make the 'crumply burgers' myself. After some trial and error I have come up with a recipe that works perfectly for us. A friend asked me to share the recipe, remember that I am not a chef though so there are no real measurements for the recipe but more of a "do what you feel is right". Ingredients: 1 pound of hamburger meat (or more depending on how many you are serving) mustard dill pickles white onion (we only use a little bit, but we always have onions on hand in our place so we take what we need each time) hamburger buns sliced c

Wyatt’s 2nd Birthday!

I guess I forgot to write about Wyatt’s 2nd birthday, and that makes me said because that was such a fun party to plan since he actually has things he shows interest in now! Wyatt's 2nd birthday party was Elmo themed and it turned out so good! I am Kinda over board on planning and have “Pinterest perfect” parties by I love every bit of the crazy my planning makes me.
