Tristan and I snuck in a week day movie date to see We Are Your Friends. Overall the movie was good and entertaining. It was a lot better than I expected it to be big not what I would consider the best movie I've ever seen. I'd give it like a 3 star rating. The soundtrack for the movie on the other hand was amazing. 

We have had a rough week or so. Grandma Roe passed suddenly and our family is missing her so much. There is defiantly a hole in our family and it's going to take some time to adjust.  The hardest thing I think I've ever done was watching Payden put a picture of one of our sonograms I her casket. It's so sad that she will never get to meet our child.  Grandma Roe was the head of our family and will be greatly missed. Grandpa is slowly adjusting to life and I'm so proud of my husband for the extra love and attention he has been giving his grandfather in his time of need. It's heart melting to see the love he has for them and I know how hard the loss of his grandma is on him. 

How far along:  18 weeks today!  Gender:  Unknown-- 9 more days!  Weight gain:  gained one pound but still under pre pregnancy weight!  Maternity clothes:  Maternity pants are the only pants I can wear. And maternity leggings are a heaven send.  Sleep:  I'm having a hard time getting comfortable and can't stay asleep for long periods of time.  Best moment this week: it's been an emotional week.   Worst moment this week: grandma Roe passing away this past Friday. Needless to say emotions are running high.  Miss anything:   Honestly all we miss right now of Payden's grandma.  Movement: Not feeling the baby on a daily bases but I am feeling some movement.  Cravings:  Nothing really  Queasy or sick:  Food doesn't ever really taste good. I've gotten sick a few times here recently.  Looking forward to: My birthday on Thursday (even though that's the day of the funeral) and Labor Day weeken...

Now that the baby can hear us...we are placing bets on what the baby's first cuss word will be.  And feeling the baby move has to be the coolest yet strangest feeling ever!  How far along:  17 weeks today!  Gender:  Unknown-- and the wait until September 10th is taking forever.  Weight gain: gained one pound but still under pre pregnancy weight!  Maternity clothes:  Maternity pants are the only pants I can wear. And maternity leggings are a heaven send.  Sleep:  I'm having a hard time getting comfortable and can't stay asleep for long periods of time.  Best moment this week: feeling the baby move, which actually happened for the first time today!     Worst moment this week:  my lack of sleep.   Miss anything:   I miss being able to sleep and stay asleep.  Movement: First time feeling the baby was today!  Cravings: Nothing really  Queasy or sick:  Feeling alot better for the...

Our new coffee table is in!! We love it!  New origami owl charms!!  Vegas decided to camp out with me on the basement living room floor.  Shout out to my friend Dannielle for this awesome housewarming gift!  Vegas meows from the living room in the morning to get attention. So funny yet annoying.  Raging Idiots concert with two of my favorite people (Annie and Kayla)  on August 28th  I can't help but laugh when I see Vegas laying like this. Too funny!  We bought some adorable decorations for our gender reveal party on the 12th. We are so excited!  Davis Moore day at Exploration Day on August 30th.  Happy birthday to me!  My card from the hubby!  Vegas didn't want dad to read the Cabela's ad.  And then Vegas decided that the Cabela's ad was a perfect place to hide. My birthday present from my sister Tiffani. I've been wanting this shirt since I found out I was pregnant and she ended up getting me both the shirt and sweater! ...

As you can see from the movie ticket, I've been meaning to write this post for awhile but pregnant and working is kicking my butt.  Anyway my friend Tristan and I got to sneak in a girls night to see this movie and I could not stop laughing! Oh my lord it was funny! And they talked about my favorite NBA team (New York Knicks) so that was a plus.  Easily will give this one a five star rating but heads up the humor is vulgar but I loved it! 

16 weeks! And this sign makes me crave some Chipotle chips and guacamole!  How far along:  16 weeks today!  Gender:  Unknown-- and the wait until September 10th is taking forever.  Weight gain:  still under starting weight-- I've officially lost 10 pounds since finding out I'm pregnant.  Maternity clothes:  Maternity pants are the only pants I can wear.  Sleep:  I'm sleeping decently.  Best moment this week: Getting things accomplished around the house.    Worst moment this week: finding out how much the blood thinner shots are going to be and finding out that my sonogram isn't until I'm 19 weeks.  Miss anything:   I miss being able to eat what I want.
