Color Vibe 5k Run 2013

Yesterday morning started off with me participating in my first 5k. The Color Run was so fun! I may not have ran the run but I am very proud of myself to have been able to walk it without any trouble. This was the perfect run for me to do for my first one, since it isn't a competitive race and it was a lot of fun! I'm so proud of myself and so happy I did it. Plus I had some fun people who I walked the race with. Aunt Brenda, family friend Julia, cousin Brittnry and my high school friend Tristan. 

After the race we even got free breakfast at Leeker's!

Growing up in Wichita, Kansas my husband has always known about the 'crumply burgers' at NuWay. I on the other hand had never heard of such a thing and never had the nerve to try the restaurant chain that I had never heard of. Yet since we have been dating since high school he eventually got me to try it and I have loved them ever since. When we moved out on our own I wanted to try and save money and figured I could make the 'crumply burgers' myself. After some trial and error I have come up with a recipe that works perfectly for us. Wyatt’s 2nd Birthday!

I guess I forgot to write about Wyatt’s 2nd birthday, and that makes me said because that was such a fun party to plan since he actually has things he shows interest in now! Wyatt's 2nd birthday party was Elmo themed and it turned out so good! I am Kinda over board on planning and have “Pinterest perfect” parties by I love every bit of the crazy my planning makes me.
