Birthday Brag

I'm starting my birthday brag a little early. I can't believe I'm 25 this year! Crazy! 

Happy early birthday to me. My new Origami Owl charms came in! 

Another early birthday present: I finally got a Big Dipper necklace! The Big Dipper is my FAVORITE symbol of my sorority Alpha Phi and I'm so excited to have a necklace with it. I'm in love! 

I celebrated my birthday with my husband and inlaws on the Sunday before my birthday. My husband gave the  best gifts, his theme for the gifts must have been "white girl birthday". Here are the gifts from him. 



My inlaws made me the best dinner! 


My inlaws gave me money, their name gave me money and my sister in law and her girlfriend gave me gift cards to see Alvie! Best gifts ever!

Monday was Labor Day and my friend Tristan and I went on a movie date and she got the cutest WSU mug and card. So sweet! 

The Wednesday after my birthday I had a birthday party with my friends at my favorite store: Apricot Lane. Here are my goodies that I bought, my prizes and my birthday gift from my friend Maggi! 

My friend Kayla had been teasing me about having gotten me the best birthday present and she was right! I love this sign with our last name. 

My best friend Mandy's mom got me a cute sign that was specialized with our names. I love it! 


My parents got me a SURFACE PRO 3!!! I'm so excited!

Growing up in Wichita, Kansas my husband has always known about the 'crumply burgers' at NuWay. I on the other hand had never heard of such a thing and never had the nerve to try the restaurant chain that I had never heard of. Yet since we have been dating since high school he eventually got me to try it and I have loved them ever since. When we moved out on our own I wanted to try and save money and figured I could make the 'crumply burgers' myself. After some trial and error I have come up with a recipe that works perfectly for us. Wyatt’s 2nd Birthday!

I guess I forgot to write about Wyatt’s 2nd birthday, and that makes me said because that was such a fun party to plan since he actually has things he shows interest in now! Wyatt's 2nd birthday party was Elmo themed and it turned out so good! I am Kinda over board on planning and have “Pinterest perfect” parties by I love every bit of the crazy my planning makes me.
