Movie Review: The Giver

As you saw previously, my friend Tristan and I added The Giver to our book/movie list. Welll I ended my day off with a movie date with her. 

The movie was just as good as the book and had great acting. I loved the way the movie was filmed (even though at times it reminded me of the movie Pleasentville (which isn't a bad thing because I still love that movie)). 

Even if you haven't read the book the movie is worth watching. I'd give the movie a 4 star rating. I think the movie is better if you've read the book but it is still really good!

Growing up in Wichita, Kansas my husband has always known about the 'crumply burgers' at NuWay. I on the other hand had never heard of such a thing and never had the nerve to try the restaurant chain that I had never heard of. Yet since we have been dating since high school he eventually got me to try it and I have loved them ever since. Payden caught Vegas choosing to cuddle with me instead of him.  One of my best friends, Maggi and I at a BWW dinner date.  Service department wearing pink for breast cancer awareness. We will be wearing pink every Friday during October.  My coworker Terrance decided to be the odd man out and not wear pink.  Life is better with a new Cosch purse to carry.  Started reading Gone Girl. Another book/movie on my friend Tristan and I's list.   I bought koozies for the OKC Thunder game on the 17th!  Maggi and I officially have our new Knicks gear to support the fomer Wichita State player Cleanothy Early!  Oklahoma City Thunder NBA game with some of my favorite ladies: Maggi and Tristan.

Movie Review: Mirror Mirror

I so badly wanted to see this movie because I love fairy tales and I love Julia Roberts. It has been on my Netflix instant stream list for awhile. Today thanks to my surgery and recovery I finally had the chance to watch it and I was SUPER disappointed! I couldn't even force myself to finish it. It was really not interesting and not at all what I expected.  I can't really give it a grade on a grading scale since I didn't even finish it. But maybe a C.
