Movie Review: Paper Towns

Image
My friend Trustan and I added this book to our movie/book list and although I haven't read the book yet we decided to go ahead and see the movie!  I'm so glad that we saw it! The movie was perfect for a weekday girl's night! The story line was great and there were so many times that I was laughing so hard I was almost in tears (pregnancy does weird things to you yall!)  The movie is easily a five star rating and now I can't wait to read the book!!

Cool fact of the week: baby H has FINGERPRINTS! Mind blown! Sam Hunt/ Hunter Hayes/ Lady Antebellum Concet

Another one of those we bought the tickets before I knew I was pregnant situations.  Last night one of my dear best friends, Kayla, and I attended the Sam Hunt/ Hunter Hayes/ Lady Antebellum Concet. We had floor seats and although I got tired of standing and my body started to ache it was so much fun!  We had seen Hunter Hayes before (as an opener) and Lady Antebellum twice before (once as an opener and once at their concert last year) and never had seen Sam Hunt. We were excited to see Sam Hunt although we didn't know a lot of his music but I'm sad to say we didn't think his performance (or other music) was that good. But he was good to look at. Lol We knew that we knew a lot of Hunter Hayes' songs but we couldn't remember what he was like live and I must say we were impressed! His performance was amazing and he was really funny and entertaining!  Lady Antebellum has always been amazing live and this time they did not disappoint!! The concert was amazing, I love th

Hoodie Allen Concert

Before we knew we were pregnant Maggi and I decided that we would travel to Kansas City and attended an outdoor music festival/concert to see our favorite artist/rapper (that she introduced me to).  And Maggi was awesome enough to get us meet and greet passes to meet Hoodie so needless to say the concert was happening pregnant or not.  I'm so glad that we still went. Yes it was a long day, yes it was hot and yes I was so tired by the time we were done but I had a blast in Kansas City and at the Concet with one of my best friends! Did I mention that we had pit tickets? That was an interesting experience while pregnant and tired. Lol Here are pictures from our weekday Kansas City trip. (Did I mention that the concert was on a Tuesday night...lol)

12 weeks!

How far along:  12 weeks today!  Gender:  Unknown Weight gain:  one pound under starting weight.  Maternity clothes: Maternity jeans are the only jeans I can wear.  Sleep:  I'm sleeping decently.  Best moment this week: our new couch came in! We love it!  Worst moment this week:  work drama.  Miss anything:   I miss being able to stay up later and not be so dead tired the next morning.  Movement:  Not yet Cravings:  Orange chicken from Panda Express, Root Beer, Orange soda and chocolate pancakes (probably could have it all in one meal)  Queasy or sick:  Feeling queasy at times but it's getting better!  Looking forward to:  I'm going to Kansas City for a concert tonight and I have a best friend date planned with Kayla on Wednesday!  And another concert with Kayla on Saturday!!

What I'm Reading: 15th Edition

Image
I originally bought this book on my nook because Tristan and I wanted to add it to our movie/book list. But when we saw the ratings for the movie were horrible we decided to knock the movie off of our list and not waste our money.  But that being said, I had already bought the book and just now got around to reading it. I must say I really like it! The voice of it is really relatable and even funny at times. The story line is great and I'm not disappointed in it at all. I wonder what made the movie so bad. But the book is actually pretty good so I'm glad I decided to still give it a try.

Movie Review: Ant-Man

Image
As you may know Marvel movies are out favorite and so when Ant-Man was announced we knew we had to see it. Plus once I found out that Paul Rudd was playing the main character I was all in! (Gotta love Paul Rudd!)  We are loving our balcony movie dates and this one was perfect for this pregnant and exhausted mama to be.  We love the movie! Probably one of my favorites and I always love how the marvel movies have humor in them. It is perfect! Hands down a five star rating!!

My dear friend Maggi and I had the opportunity to go to Kentucky this past weekend to a housing academy for our sorority. We had a lot of fun, tracked through several airports and learned a lot. Not to mention we got to meet new sister from all over and that's always fun!  Here's some pictures:
