Vegas does nothing but entertain Payden and I. I am obsessed with her as if she is our first child and in our eyes that is exactly what she is. Some people have their dogs or their own children that they tell stories about or whom they are always excited to come home to. For Payden and I that is Vegas. Vegas is obsessed with playing fetch. Typically it is with a hair tie (her favorite toy) or her rat toy that she has loved since we brought it home (she is so obsessed with this toy it is literally staying together just barely by a string). That is typically how she wake Payden and I up by; bringing one of her favorite fetch toys and dropping it right by our faces and pawing at us until we wake up to throw it. If we do not wake up she jumps off the bed to go and unplug the van by the bed, knowing that we will wake up the moment we get too hot. She is really quite smart. I have officially said goodbye to my first car, my dear Saturn. My 1998 Saturn officially died on me. I have driven it for a good six years and it has been through alot. I am very proud of the fact that I bought that car all on my own and it has lasted me for so long. Payden is happy now that we have a new car that is more reliable and safe and that he likes alot as well. Yesterday we found a 2009 Mitsubishi Galant that we fell in love with. So after some negotiation and everything we have officially purchased it and it is all mine/ours. I am very happy and excited and I am glad that my buying a car experience was not awful and that everything worked out so well. I am a little stressed that we now have a car payment but I know that it will be worth it because I have a working car again that is in amazing condition and that has great gas mileage.

So I have officially become one of those crazy cat ladies. Judge me all that you please but I do not mind at all. I very much love my cat, and do believe that she has one of the best personalities. She fits into our family (of my husband and I) so well and has became a very happy addition to our home and life together. I had a friend tell me that she loves to hear all of my crazy stories about Vegas and that I should start a blog about them. I decided I would just write random "Cat Chronicles" as events happened in my personal blog instead of having one blog dedicated to just her stories. You are welcome to read them or to overlook them. I do not care either way. I am very happy with our lives and do not care to hear negative comments or judgements. Vegas always knows how to make my husband and I laugh. I was lucky enough to get a free ticket to go to the Saturday night concerts of Country Stampede this year. So I left Friday afternoon with Payden's aunt and a few of her family members from her side of the family for a girl's weekend. While they were all out at the concerts on Friday night I stayed in our hotel room and read the 50 Shades of Grey book on Aunt Brenda's nook and hung out. It was an relaxing night and I am now addicted to that book series. Saturday was a fun day. We woke up early, went to breakfast at IHOP, went to the mall where I bought two new sun dresses and then headed to Stampede for the afternoon and night concerts. This was seriously so much fun! We got to have girl talk and gossip and enjoyed each other's company. The concerts were amazing and the ladies I went with were the best company I could have had around me. Just what I needed, a fun relaxing weekend with people that care about me. I am officially going next year again with the ladies ...

I was a good wife this past week for Payden's birthday. I bought him tickets to go see one of his favorite bands, Nickelback live. I must say it turned out to be a really good concert and entertaining even though the music was super loud and I was deaf by the end of it. But Payden really enjoyed himself and had a good 23rd birthday, so truly that is all that matters to me. I am glad he had fun.

This past Sunday I was able to throw my best friend Mandy her first baby shower. Jenny (Mandy's Alpha Phi Big Sister) and I worked hard the whole month texting each other and gathering ideas and activities for the shower. We decided to have a book theme for the baby, so we had everyone bring books for a raffle so that Mandy and Tannen can have a Mommy and Me Library started before he arrives. The overall theme of the shower was "Goodnight Moon" and it turned out so cute! I worked really hard on her diaper cake and we picked out some fun games for the girls to play. The cake that we ordered matched the theme perfectly and it was adorable. Mandy really enjoyed herself and got alot of really good gifts for her and the baby. I was really proud of how it all turne dout and I am so happy for her. Here are some pictures from the shower.

Brittney's wedding was this past weekend and it was so beautiful! I am so honored that I could be apart of the big day and I am so happy that everything went so smoothly and that the bride and groom enjoyed themselves and had such an amazing wedding! I am so happy for Mr. and Mrs. Harrell and I can't wait to see them after they get home from their honeymoon! The bridal shower and bachelorette party and all the planning for the wedding went wonderfully and the bride had a blast! I really enjoyed planning these things for her and really enjoyed myself. I feel this brought me alot closer to my Hamilton family and I cherish the friendships I have made through this process.
