March Sadness

I started yesterday with my bracket being in the 93 percentile and then Kansas loss… then going into the Wichita State/Kentucky game I was nervous but so excited to see the Shockers play… It was a rough game, close game all the way through with bad plays and calls on both sides. Then WSU loss by 2 points. 


The amount of emotions I felt at that moment was indescribable. But as I look back now I am still so proud of this amazing season.


We still made history this year for our school and for the NCAA. I will always, no matter what, be the proudest Wichita State fan and grad and there is nothing that will happen that will change my mind. I am a diehard fan through the good and the bad. But this season has been so amazing to watch and experience. And I am so proud of the hard work that the team put into this season and I am so proud to see a team that actually works and plays as a TEAM. 


They are a true example of a brotherhood and it has been so amazing to watch.

So congrats Shockers on the perfect season, for making history and all the hard work; the fans love you!

Growing up in Wichita, Kansas my husband has always known about the 'crumply burgers' at NuWay. I on the other hand had never heard of such a thing and never had the nerve to try the restaurant chain that I had never heard of. Yet since we have been dating since high school he eventually got me to try it and I have loved them ever since. When we moved out on our own I wanted to try and save money and figured I could make the 'crumply burgers' myself. After some trial and error I have come up with a recipe that works perfectly for us. A friend asked me to share the recipe, remember that I am not a chef though so there are no real measurements for the recipe but more of a "do what you feel is right". Wyatt’s 2nd Birthday!

I guess I forgot to write about Wyatt’s 2nd birthday, and that makes me said because that was such a fun party to plan since he actually has things he shows interest in now! Wyatt's 2nd birthday party was Elmo themed and it turned out so good! I am Kinda over board on planning and have “Pinterest perfect” parties by I love every bit of the crazy my planning makes me.
