My week in photos: Round 7

MONDAY: even though he told me last minute I am excited that Payden wants to go to a book signing tonight. I rushed this morning to get him the book. 

MONDAY AGAIN: We can't have nice things: we have a cat. This is what we came home to. Vegas wanted attention apparently. 

WEDNESDAY: Vegas cat has claimed this dinning room chair as hers. 

THURSDAY: Trailer Park/White Trash Bitchy Bingo with Dannielle and Larry (and non photographed Eldon) for the LLS campaign. So much fun. 


FRIDAY: Balcony movie date to see Captain America The Winter Solider! Such a great movie! 

SATURDAY: Larry's personal kick off party for his LLS campaign!

Homemade NuWay Burgers

Growing up in Wichita, Kansas my husband has always known about the 'crumply burgers' at NuWay. I on the other hand had never heard of such a thing and never had the nerve to try the restaurant chain that I had never heard of. Yet since we have been dating since high school he eventually got me to try it and I have loved them ever since. When we moved out on our own I wanted to try and save money and figured I could make the 'crumply burgers' myself. After some trial and error I have come up with a recipe that works perfectly for us. A friend asked me to share the recipe, remember that I am not a chef though so there are no real measurements for the recipe but more of a "do what you feel is right". Ingredients: 1 pound of hamburger meat (or more depending on how many you are serving) mustard dill pickles white onion (we only use a little bit, but we always have onions on hand in our place so we take what we need each time) hamburger buns sliced c

Wyatt’s 2nd Birthday!

I guess I forgot to write about Wyatt’s 2nd birthday, and that makes me said because that was such a fun party to plan since he actually has things he shows interest in now! Wyatt's 2nd birthday party was Elmo themed and it turned out so good! I am Kinda over board on planning and have “Pinterest perfect” parties by I love every bit of the crazy my planning makes me.

This jacket was Brent's when he was a toddler and Payden wore it when he was a toddler and now Wyatt is wearing it. It's so cool to see him in these hand me downs. And I even found pictures of Payden wearing the jacket to compare.
