Wyatt's First Christmas

I was discharged from the hospital the morning of Christmas Day and got to check up on him before heading home. It was hard to know that he wasn't going to be coming home to celebrate Christmas with us. But that just means next year I will have to kinda go over board. 

After getting discharged I got to go home and shower at my own house, wear my own clothes and steal some cuddles from my cat kid. 

We then headed to Payden's parent's house to celebrate Christmas and to steal some puppy cuddles. 

We then went back to the hospital to feed Wyatt and to spend some time with him. Payden was excited to be there (despite the way he looks in the picture), he was talking and playing with Wyatt while I was feeding and burping him. 




I was not expecting start to look this small in his first Christmas but I wouldn't trade him being my Christmas present for anything in the world.

Growing up in Wichita, Kansas my husband has always known about the 'crumply burgers' at NuWay. I on the other hand had never heard of such a thing and never had the nerve to try the restaurant chain that I had never heard of. Yet since we have been dating since high school he eventually got me to try it and I have loved them ever since. When we moved out on our own I wanted to try and save money and figured I could make the 'crumply burgers' myself. After some trial and error I have come up with a recipe that works perfectly for us. This jacket was Brent's when he was a toddler and Payden wore it when he was a toddler and now Wyatt is wearing it. It's so cool to see him in these hand me downs. And I even found pictures of Payden wearing the jacket to compare.

Wyatt’s 2nd Birthday!

I guess I forgot to write about Wyatt’s 2nd birthday, and that makes me said because that was such a fun party to plan since he actually has things he shows interest in now! Wyatt's 2nd birthday party was Elmo themed and it turned out so good! I am Kinda over board on planning and have “Pinterest perfect” parties by I love every bit of the crazy my planning makes me.
