Early Birthday Wednesday

With all of our work schedules and the fact I'm going out of town on Friday (their actual birthday) all of the Hamiltons (my in-laws and us) decided to celebrate Payden and Paige's birthdays. They share a birthday. My husband will be turning 25 on Friday and my sister in law will be turning 20. 

Our early birthday celebration consisted of steaks, grilled veggies and the birthday kids choices of desserts. Payden picked dirt pudding (like a 7 year old) and Paige picked apple crisp.

And today felt like we were celebrating birthday week for me as well. (Birthday week isn't a joke, we take birthdays very seriously). I got a bunch of new tops/tunics in the mail today. 

I hate ending a post without showing off Vegas. I got this adorable new picture of her after we put a bandana on her.

Growing up in Wichita, Kansas my husband has always known about the 'crumply burgers' at NuWay. I on the other hand had never heard of such a thing and never had the nerve to try the restaurant chain that I had never heard of. Yet since we have been dating since high school he eventually got me to try it and I have loved them ever since. When we moved out on our own I wanted to try and save money and figured I could make the 'crumply burgers' myself. After some trial and error I have come up with a recipe that works perfectly for us. A friend asked me to share the recipe, remember that I am not a chef though so there are no real measurements for the recipe but more of a "do what you feel is right". Wyatt’s 2nd Birthday!

I guess I forgot to write about Wyatt’s 2nd birthday, and that makes me said because that was such a fun party to plan since he actually has things he shows interest in now! Wyatt's 2nd birthday party was Elmo themed and it turned out so good! I am Kinda over board on planning and have “Pinterest perfect” parties by I love every bit of the crazy my planning makes me.
